With a responsible approach
We have adopted a circular economy model to minimize the impact on the environment and maximize the efficient use of resources. This focus has enabled us to reduce our carbon footprint and build a model that serves as an example for what a sustainable company is. At Plásticos Cantabria, we play an active part in the circular economy because our bags are made of recycled materials, and we promote the reuse of the bags because they are 100% recyclable.
A more efficient production model
Led by the R&D department, we work every day to incorporate all the necessary advances into our methodologies, whether in terms of raw materials, production machinery or the development of our products, creating a company model that is a national and global benchmark.
We recycle
Since 2021, we have increased the use of post-consumer recycled material by more than 46%, the equivalent of 5,926,496 kilos of reused material.
We upgrade
The replacement and renewal of our machinery, including chillers, motors and HVAC units, has saved 403.23 tons of CO2.
We save
Reducing energy consumption of the lighting by replacing mercury vapor lamps with LED lights has generated savings of 40% and improved light output by 10%.
We improve
High performance in the management of water-air cooling systems has generated energy savings of more than 40%.
